My progress
The humans have been busy lately. But she still takes pictures. She said that I am hard to photograph because I don't sit still but she still manages to get pictures of me anyways. Would you like to see some?
The humans bought me some toys today. However, they said that I destroyed them too quickly and needed to find ones more durable for me. I am a very active puppy. I like toys, but I mostly just like to chew on them. It feels like a puzzle, I never know what I might find in the middle. I love the outdoors. However, the neighbors have this dog and I don't like it. I just want to bark at it some more but the human told me to stop. That's ok though, she still threw me by tirerope and I continued to zoom up and down the backyard as fast as a cheetah.
Sam's first snow.
Hello, remember me? Sam? Today I woke up my humans because I needed to go out. They say I get energetic and pace back and forth when I need to go out. I'm so excited. The humans tell me it's going to snow today. I've never seen snow. What is snow? My humans fed me my breakfast which they say makes me gassy. I hope I don't have allergies. Maybe it's my diet. I wish I knew so I could help them? They said they need to take me to the vet. Oh God, what if I don't want to go? They scare me
The big bald guy left this morning. I missed him. I didn't think he'd come back but he did and he ate some food. It smelled so good. I wanted some but he didn't give me any. Guess it's human food. He left again after. I hope he comes back. I miss him. But I chill in the couch and watch the human do something on this computer. She calls me a good boy.
Human noticed I was pacing and took me out. There was white fluffy stuff on the ground. I have never seen it before. Human told me it was snow. Omg it was so cold in my feet but it was fun to run and slide around in. I liked to lick it and eat it

My name is Sam!
Adoption day: November 29th, 2020
Hello, my name is Sam; or at least that was the name that was given to me at the shelter. I am a blue nose pitbull and I am approximately 1 year and 4 months old. I was left outside tied to a tree with no food or water and became very thin. I was picked up and moved to a shelter where I awaited adoption.
I was adopted twice after getting my current home which I hope is my furever home. My past owners didn't keep me for long. They tell me I was too energetic and I really don't like dogs or cats. I like being the center of attention.
My current family adopted me today from Hamilton County Animal Shelter or also known as Cincinnati Animal Care . I loved it there though. The people were so friendly and always gave me snuggles. And even sometimes took me on car rides. I love rides in the car. However, there were too many other animals for me to get all the attention.
My journey all started with a phone call to find out about adoptions. I hear there's a virus right now making life difficult for humans. But they added me to their list! They wanted me. They told me I was their top pick. Even with my big head and skinny body I charmed them from the first second they looked at me.
The car ride was awesome. They rolled the window down for me to smell outside. I felt happy. I couldn't contain my excitement as I tried to stay still. We arrived at their house and OMG I'm in a house. They have couches and blankets a bed and there was the smell of something cooking. Boy I was happy to smell that. They have a yard for me to run around in even though they get angry when I dig or pick up rocks and bricks. I love rocks and bricks. I love to chew them.
They ate dinner and played ball with me. I had the zoomies and ran around in the back yard.
They said I laid on the couch and I love looking out the window. I love it here. They don't allow me into the rest of the house at night but their bedroom. But they say when I am better trained I can be out there. They gave me a nice bed of blankets and pillows with water in here for if I get thirsty.
It's night time and I'm sleeping. The big man is snoring. I am happy. I hope these people will keep me and love me. I love them. But I guess I need to work on my licking guess I lick a lot but I'm just so happy. I also apparently do little excited humps. Whoops. Also they told me I was gassy and it smelled bad but I'm just nervous. But all in all. I am happy and I feel loved. Won't you love me too and follow my journey to being a better happier puppy?
